Analysis: DE Derek Barnett is also questionable, so Philadelphia's depth up front may be tested Week 1. Washington had one of the worst offenses in the league last season (274.7 YPG and 16.6 PPG), and it is sticking with the youth movement in 2020 with RB Antonio Gibson and second-year players QB Dwayne Haskins, WR Terry McLaurin and WR Steven Sims leading the skill positions. It's a strong matchup for the Eagles D/ST despite the potential depth concerns on the defensive line.

Analysis: S Malcolm Jenkins and LB Nigel Bradham departed after last season and the remaining linebackers are unproven besides Nate Gerry, but the defense still enters 2020 with an improved outlook. The Eagles ranked 10th in total defense (331.7 YPG), 15th in scoring (22.1 PPG), tied-19th in takeaways (20) and tied-13th in sacks (43) during 2019, so a modest improvement could result in being a reliable fantasy option this season.

The Eagles allowed 311 yards and nine points to the Cowboys in Week 16 and play the Giants on Sunday.

Analysis: Philadelphia had two sacks and a takeaway as it stymied Dallas for most of the day, especially on third down (3-for-14 on third-down conversions). Meanwhile, New York scored 77 points in the last two games and didn't have a giveaway Week 16. The Eagles gave up362 yards and 27 points to the Redskins Week 16 and play the Cowboys on Sunday.

Analysis: Philadelphia allowed 7.1 yards per play and 9.3 yards per pass while recording zero sacks and zero takeaways through the majority of the game, but a fumble return for a touchdown as time expired salvaged some value. The Cowboys enter the matchup as one of the top-ranked offenses in the league, while the Eagles have struggled to hold down the Dolphins, Giants and Redskins over the last three weeks. The Philadelphia D/ST isn't worth considering outside the deepest of formats for Week 16.

The Eagles allowed 255 yards and 17 points during the Week 14, overtime win over the Giants and play the Redskins on Sunday.

Analysis: QB Eli Manning made his first start since Week 2 and nearly delivered a win for New York, but outside of a 17-point second quarter, Philadelphia overall played solid defense but had zero takeaways and only two sacks, though it gave up only 11 first downs and 4.9 yards per play. The Eagles surrendered 409 yards and 37 points during the Week 13 loss to the Dolphins and play the Giants on Monday Night Football.

Analysis: Philadelphia managed to hold down Seattle in Week 12 and were a popular streaming option, but it was torched for 8.2 yards per pass by QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in Miami. Another prime matchup awaits in Week 14, as the Giants are tied for the league lead with 28 takeaways. The Eagles D/ST has one of the best matchups of the week on paper, as long as you're willing to ignore the absolute egg it just laid versus the Dolphins.

The Eagles allowed 348 yards during the Week 12, 17-9 loss to the Seahawks and will play the Dolphins on Sunday.

Analysis: Philadelphia did a fantastic job containing QB Russell Wilson and had six sacks and two takeaways, but their own offense helped little with five giveaways. The Eagles performed well despite a tough matchup and will now be rewarded by facing the Dolphins in Week 13. Miami ranks 30th in total offense (264.9 YPG) and scoring (14.8 PPG), tied-29th in giveaways (22) and dead last in sacks allowed (46). The Philadelphia D/ST should be picked up and plugged into the starting lineup, if available.
