There's some upside because Jones has been sacked a whopping 28 times while averaging just 20.7 points per game, but this unit still has too much risk outside of large DFS tournaments.

However, that comes with plenty of risk, too, as the Bears have scored at least 29 points in three straight games now that Fields has started running like crazy.

Analysis: The Lions are turning some heads in the NFL, but their defense is still highly suspect. It has allowed 65 points through two games -- the second highest mark in the league. It's intriguing that their pass rush started heating up last week, but the Vikings' passing attack may be too much to handle still, as WR Justin Jefferson is backed up by WR Adam Thielen and RB Dalvin Cook. Stay away from Lions D/ST.

The Lions posted a sack and no takeaways in the 38-35 loss to the Eagles in Week 1.

Analysis: The Eagles' offense is quite good, but this was still an unfortunate performance regardless. We can expect a lot of these performances from the Lions moving forward, but the Week 2 matchup against Washington has some intrigue at least. The Commanders turned the ball over three times in their 28-22 win over the Jaguars in Week 1. The Lions have some upside in Week 2 as a result, but they're one of the more risky plays.

DE Romeo Okwara (Achilles) will miss the first four games of the season after being placed on the reserve/PUP list.

Analysis: Okwara's last healthy season was in 2020 when he recorded 10 sacks. The Lions are hoping DE Aidan Hutchinson -- the second overall pick -- and DE Charles Harris -- who accumulated 7.5 sacks last year -- will be able to provide a fierce enough pass rush. Still, this defense ranked 31st last year with 27.5 points allowed per game and didn't do enough to overcome that in 2022. They're off the fantasy radar for now.

Analysis: The Lions provided minimal fantasy value Thanksgiving Day with one takeaway and one sack, and the Bears were able to move the ball with relative ease all afternoon at 6.8 yards per play. The Detroit D/ST has been a liability for much of the season and that remains the case in Week 14, as the Vikings feature a top-eight offense in yardage (376.6 YPG) and scoring (26.6 PPG).

Analysis: Detroit mostly delivered versus a poor Redskins offense with three sacks and two takeaways while allowing only 4.0 yards per play, but the ineptitude of its own offense (four giveaways and six sacks) led to the loss. Analysis: Detroit predictably struggled to slow down Dallas, as QB Dak Prescott racked up 434 passing yards and 35 points, but the potential loss of Flowers could be a problem.
